Included with heads are a set of billet aluminum rocker pedestals that MUST be used with these heads and genuine GM LS3 rocker arms with or with a trunnion upgrade.
These heads require the use of longer than stock length pushrods. Due to variations in cam base circle size, machining tolerances, and variations in lifter design, the pushrod lengths need to be measured at the time of assembly. They generally measure around 8,200." We highly recommend a minimum .080 wall hardened one piece 5/16 pushrod. We offer various length pushrods as well in our store.
We recommend 2" primary exhaust headers to take best advantage of this improved exhaust port design however they will work with 1 7/8 primaries and stock exhaust manifolds.
